The Fadel Educational Foundation, Inc. (the "Foundation"), is a non-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Georgia. The Foundation also enjoys tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of the United States of America. The Foundation was founded in 1992 by members of the Fadel Family with the aim of encouraging American Muslims to pursue higher education by providing qualified applicants with monetary assistance to help them achieve their educational ambitions. Since its founding in 1992, the Foundation has distributed over $600,000 in grants to American Muslims without regard to the applicant's race, gender, sect, or ethnicity. In addition to cash grants to applicants, the Foundation has established a modest endowment that is used to help defray certain operating costs of the Foundation. All of the Foundation's activities have been funded by the donations of individual members of the Fadel family.

Because the foundation receives requests for information about other funding opportunities available to Muslim students, it has compiled a non-comprehensive list of scholarships and internships. The foundation assumes no liability for the content of these external links and does not endorse the programs or the organizations which sponsor them. If you want a scholarship or internship program to be list, please contact FEF.
