Criteria: |
The scholarship will be presented annually to a University of Regina entering student who meets the following criteria: * University of Regina scholarship entrance average of 80%, based on early conditional average which consists of 5 courses from the approved subject areas common to all faculties for admission to the University of Regina * registered in 12 or more credit hours of study in the semester the scholarship is paid out * financial need will be considered * preference to an entering female Muslim student or male Muslim student, if no application is received from a Muslim student, the award is open to any student who has met the other eligibility criteria * demonstrate through application in writing, not to exceed 250 words, highlights of volunteerism within the Muslim community and their familiarity with the Muslim faith |
